ROME REMASTERED includes the Alexander and Barbarian Invasion DLCs, plus a copy of the original ROME: Total War Collection* if you don't already have it.

  • Improved visuals:

ROME REMASTERED updates classic Rome visuals with 4K optimization, ultra-wide screen and support for native UHD resolution. This visual update rolls out to a host of features, including remodeled buildings and objects, as well as environmental effects such as dust clouds and haze. Updated campaign maps also boast new high-res models, and units have been remodeled and retextured to look their best on the battlefield.

  • Modern Features:

  1. ROME REMASTERED includes many modern features and improvements to existing mechanics.
  2. The in-game camera has been improved, including map rotation and a wider zoom level in campaign mode.
  3. Heat maps and new icon overlays have been added for game mechanics such as diplomacy and security.
  4. In combat, a new tactical map, unit displays, and range markers give you more control over Rome's battlefields.

  • Improved game mechanics:

Players can now expand their armies and experience 16 additional factions that were previously locked out, for a total of 38 playable factions. For the first time in Total War, you can take on your favorite faction and take on your friends in cross-platform multiplayer across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

An entirely new agent type has also been added to combat; Traders can be sent around the world to create trade links, access resources, and buy competitors to increase their income and establish their faction's economic power.
